What’s changing
01
Verified methods
Automation scripts are validated against manual protocol performance.
02
Scalable throughput
Plate-based runs reduce hands-on time for high-volume laboratories.
03
Shared support
Joint support covers both the chemistry and the automation method.
A broader path to discovery
Takara Bio USA and Hamilton Company announced a collaboration to deliver verified automated library preparation methods on Hamilton liquid handling platforms.
The expanded portfolio supports deeper biological insight from multiomics experiments while remaining designed for seamless integration. Researchers can add a new dimension to existing studies without purchasing a separate specialized instrument or abandoning the platforms already used in their laboratories.
Automation should reproduce the protocol, not compromise it.
Technology unlocks new possibilities
Single-cell spatial omics is redefining how scientists study tissue biology by enabling high-resolution maps of gene and protein expression. A straightforward workflow transforms standard single-cell data into spatial insight, and expanded bioinformatics software with dedicated field-application support helps researchers optimize downstream analysis with open-source tools.
Investing in what comes next
Takara Bio USA continues to expand its R&D teams and consolidate manufacturing at its facilities. The investment increases capacity to scale production, respond to global demand, and accelerate development of complementary platforms.
